Townhouse fire in Merrifield under investigation; storm damages homes in Reston area
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a townhouse fire in the 3000 block of Ellenwood Drive in Merrifield just before 2 a.m. on Monday, July 6; no injuries were reported but the cause remains under investigation. The same night, a storm downed trees and damaged homes and vehicles in the Reston and Herndon areas.
