A free shuttle will carry riders to Vienna Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 3, on Historic Church Street. The festival has no dedicated parking lots.
The shuttle runs from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to the festival's official website. Pick-up and drop-off stops include Vienna Metro North on the Orange Line, James Madison High School, Ayr Hill and Dominion, and the W&OD Trail at Church Street. An Uber and Lyft drop-off point is set at 215 Mill St. NE.
Organizers encourage attendees to take the shuttle or bike to the event, which includes a bike park just off the W&OD Trail.
The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and marks its 17th year, TysonsToday reported. The event has historically drawn 30,000 to 35,000 attendees. Admission is free. Beer and wine cost $8 per drink ticket, or four tickets for $30. Vendors include Caboose Brewing Company, Norm's Beer and Wine, and Vienna Vintner.
Three stages will host live entertainment: the Beer Garden stage, the Town Green stage and a Mill Street stage. One stage is dedicated to kids. The lineup also includes multinational food vendors, an artisan market, a business expo and free kids' activities such as inflatables and games on the Town Green.
