Groups and residents who want to march in Vienna's annual Halloween Parade have until the end of Friday, Sept. 18, to submit their applications.

The Town of Vienna posted a last-call reminder on X on Thursday, Sept. 17, urging would-be participants to apply before the deadline. Applications are available at viennava.gov/halloween.

The parade is set for Wednesday, Oct. 28, on Maple Avenue. It is free. The event goes on rain or shine.

Vienna has hosted the Halloween parade since 1946. The annual tradition features floats, bands and costumed kids marching down Maple Avenue on the Wednesday before Halloween.

The town's Parks and Recreation department is coordinating entries. Residents with questions can call 703-255-5738 or email [email protected].
